Ruby has a worry that follows her everywhere, but she discovers the best way to get rid of it is to talk about her worries. Family First Aid Awareness

This could be the most valuable 2 hours of learning you have ever spent. Choking, head injury and fracture all are medical emergencies that children may experience. Do you know how to respond? This fantastic paediatric first aid workshop will give you the knowledge and skills to make a difference and potentially save a life.

This fantastic workshop is an opportunity for parents/carers to find out about how to carry out an assessment of a patient, the recovery position, dealing with burns and bleeding and CPR. This workshop is for any adult over the age of 16 who has responsibility for the care of a child/ren aged 0 to 11.

Fun First Aid for All the Family

This is a fun First Aid workshop aimed at children accompanied by a parent/carers. You will use exciting and interesting ways to explore how to deal with every day first aid emergencies – choking, burns, bleeding, head bumps and breaks. There will be a fun flash card quiz. Discover what to say if ever you have to call 999. This could be the most valuable 2 hours of learning you have ever spent. This fantastic fun first aid workshop will give you the knowledge and skills to make a difference and potentially save a life.

This workshop is for any adult over the age of 16 who has responsibility for the care of children aged 0 to 11.

I Wasn’t Taught That At School

Helping parents/carers in supporting their children with their homework. Maths is taught so differently at school now and it’s hard to keep up. Please note, this is a course for adults (19+). Useful for parents/carers as well as home-schooling communities and anyone interested in a career in education

Kids Matter parenting

Oak Grove Community Church, 70 Catton Grove Rd, Norwich NR3 3NT

Kids Matter is a free friendly group for anyone with children aged 0-10years. The groups are always small, relaxed and informal, led by a facilitator who is a parent themselves. We have refreshments and fun too! We discuss how to build strong families and how to love our children well including how to look after yourselves, and how to play, listen well, set boundaries and put good routines in place. T

Babies Matter is for expecting mums and dads or those with babies under 9 months of age. The programme aims to enhance parent-infant attachment and bonding, strengthen the couple/ parenting team, promote parental mental health and well-being, which in turn will help encourage positive infant mental health.

Renew Wellbeing is a space for any parent/carer who is feeling isolated/lonely/has low emotional health (and little ones under the age of 5) to come and just be. A place where it is ok not to be ok. We have a warm welcome, tea and toast, some simple craft activities for parents and toddlers, and some toys for the little ones. It is a drop in between 9.30am -12noon every Tuesday in term time.
