Find out more about the fascinating fungi to be found on an autumnal amble around the National Trust’s Blickling Park. Discover more about Fungi and their fruits; what they are, why they occur and their importance in the world.

RSPB Titchwell Discover the wonders of nature

Join us for a short walk through woodland and reedbed habitats, past bird-filled lagoons and on to one of Norfolk’s most scenic beaches. Along the way you’ll be introduced to a wide variety of wildlife, including seasonal favourites such as wading and water birds, autumnal fungi and over wintering shoreline birds.

Water Wander: Creatively Exploring Blue Space

Join artist Rachel Wright from Under Open Sky on a photographic exploration of the watery spaces of Great Yarmouth seafront. Taking in the Venetian Waterways, the beach and the sea, the creative prompts along the route will help you notice and connect with the environment in a relaxed way.

Thetford’s River Tales: Work and Play
25th October 2023 10.30-12.30pm
This short accessible family friendly walk follows the two rivers that run through Thetford, the river Thet and the river Little Ouse. We will have activities along the walk for all of the family, and we will hear stories about having fun in the rivers – swimming, boating and fishing – and see buildings from Thetford’s industrial past where they survive.

A Walking Museum Gt Yarmouth

A creative walk with Rachel Wright from Under Open Sky, connecting objects from the Tide and Time museum collections to the world outside. In this relaxed workshop you will have the chance to ‘take an object for a walk’ – have fun getting creative and exploring the beachfront.
