Sunday 18 July sessions between noon and 5pm
We are offering a fun-filled activity session for children to enjoy while you relax and listen to live music, a cocktail or beer and some of the finest street food in Norfolk.
The session will run twice so there’s plenty of room for everyone. Each child will have the opportunity to:
• Meet Norfolk author of Cheese Miner on the Moon Damian Carruthers and take part in a fun session building a spaceship from craft materials and cheese! Damian will be offering a signed copy of his book worth £10 for only £5. These will be available a the end of the event.
• Make a dog, flower or sword with Mr Sam the Magic Man at his balloon making workshop
• Decorate a cupcake with ClearCompany
• Colour your own mini wooden house or figure, including dragons, pirates or fairies, made by Norfolk artists at Hide N Teak.
Children can move around the workshop stations which are spaced out for social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be provided before and after each activity and tables wiped down. The hall will be fully ventilated.
Sessions cost only £5 (plus 80 pence Eventbrite admin fee) and children will receive their own bag in which to put their signed copy of Cheese Miner on the Moon, their rocket, cake and balloon creations. Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
• Fun activity session – registration 11.45 for Noon start. Finish and pick up at 1.15pm (£5 for children.)
• Fun activity session – registration at 1.45pm for 2pm start with pick up at 3.15pm. (£5)
• Magic show with Mr Sam the Magic Man – registration at 3.15pm for 3.30pm to 4.30pm (£5 )
Those attending both the 1.45pm activity session and the magic show will be given a colour coded wrist band on entry and can be collected at the end of the magic show.
As capacity in the hall is capped during Covid-19, we have to limit attendees and places at the activity stations. We therefore have to charge parents who will be staying and sitting at the activity table to pay for their space.
