Finnbar’s Force is a small charity set up in 2017 with three main aims – supporting
families affected by childhood cancer and brain tumours, raising awareness of
those diseases and supporting research into childhood brain tumours.
We are ambitious in our vison to improve the support available in our area (Norfolk
& Suffolk) and have been working hard to get various projects off the ground. Until
now we have been entirely run entirely by volunteers, but as we move ahead with
our plans we need to grow and this has created the exciting opportunity to develop
paid roles to help us achieve our vision!
Fundraising Officer
We are looking for someone to manage on our fundraising activities across the year.
We currently run several large events ourselves and receive income from events
organised by supporters, but we are keen to broaden our income streams over the
next few months.
14 – 21 per week (negotiable). There may be scope to increase hours to full time in
future.
Working hours are flexible.
They may occasionally be variable depending on our events schedule – i.e. in a
given week you may need to cover a few more hours than another week, to support
an event or other fundraising activity.
