An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until November 9, 2022
Our Creating through Motherhood sessions are designed to teach mothers and non-binary parents of any kind some new creative skills whilst forming a local support network. Led by local practitioners, express your experience of motherhood through writing or making with time set aside for you and your creativity. No creative experience is necessary.
Creating through Motherhood: Writing
7 Sep – 5 Oct
Norwich Theatre Café Royal
£35 for 5 weeks
These sessions will provide you with ideas on how to express yourself through writing, led by Miche Montague, Norwich-based director, playwright (WHO the WHO, WHO) and artistic director of MoCo Theatre. Connect and talk with other mothers and work on a collection of writing inspired by your experience of motherhood.
Creating through Motherhood: Making
12 Oct – 9 Nov
Norwich Theatre Café Royal
£35 for 5 weeks
Led by Rose Feather, a published, participatory picture book maker and mum to a toddler, these sessions are an opportunity to make a series of zines, mini books and one-off publications which focus on experiences of motherhood. Use storytelling and illustrations to create images and develop narratives.
