As part of the Broads Outdoors Festival join Broads Tours for a special river trip to Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail. On route to the Nature Trail your skipper will cross Wroxham Broad and around Salhouse Broad, whilst giving an entertaining live commentary. He will explain the origins of the Broads and point out the abundance of wildlife and other points of interest along the way.
He will then moor at the Nature Trail where you will be met by the Natural England Warden who will take you for a guided tour around the 1km boardwalk. The walk will take you through a real Broadland wilderness surrounded by wonderful sights and sounds. Listen to the noisy colony of nesting common terns as you look across Hoveton Great Broad, watch dragonflies gliding and if you are really lucky you may just spot an otter or a swallowtail butterfly! You will then re-board the boat for the return journey to Wroxham.
Please be aware that dogs are not permitted on the Nature Trail and that the boardwalk is not suitable for wheelchair users. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
