In fact, you can make your own Parasquawk at the Big Hat and take it for a flying lesson at the Storytelling Stage! Join Swampy and his friends and learn how to perform the very daring Beak-head Dive, Rolling Squawk, Loop-de-loop and Floating Feather Landing. Ooooh!

The 2024 Fairy Fair takes place at Bradmoor Woods in Norfolk. It is a magical celebration of nature in spring and designed for families with young children by the conservation charity, the Fairyland Trust. We use theatre and folklore to make learning about nature enjoyable. Admission is by ticket only.
The whole event is designed for families with young children and combines nature, arts, crafts, theatre and magical folklore. Many of the attractions and activities are free, and where there is a small charge this is specified on our web pages.

There’s plenty to entertain your little explorers and let imaginations run wild at National Trust places in Norfolk this May half-term.
- Get closer to nature by climbing the viewing platforms to overlook the rhododendrons at Sheringham Park

- Have fun searching for secret doorways and den building at Oxburgh Estate
- Climb up inside Horsey Windpump for spectacular views over the Broads

- Head over to Blickling Estate for Ruby Plants a Radish – a garden adventure inspired by the book ‘Ruby Plants a Radish’, written by Kate Petty and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Explore activities in the walled garden and find out how radishes grow. Spin the tiles to play the weeding game, go on a hunt for hiding ladybirds and have fun in the muddy play patch.
