Slow You Down: Exploring Wellbeing at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery
We’re teaming up with Norwich Science Festival this February Half Term!
Join us to explore the galleries at Norwich Castle together in a new light. With lots to discover and do, we invite the whole family to come and get hands on – take a close look at our collections, play, make and maybe take a chance to pause as we investigate how museums can support wellbeing for everyone.

Crossings and Connections: Museum Migrations
A special drop-in art workshop event. Alex Day, community artist, will support you to try fabric painting, sculpture making and take a close look at incredible objects in our collection (that are not often on display!). Included in general admission.

Crossings and Connections: Nature in Migration
Following the theme of crossings for our Bridges exhibition. Join us for a day of nature related migration fun and exploration. Norfolk Wildlife Trust volunteers will be here with games and informative activities.

Crossings and Connections: Superstructures!
Calling all little scientists and engineers this half term to meet the Mad Scientists who will be exploring Bridges and Superstructures with fantastic experiments and entertaining activities. Mad Science brings hands-on STEM based workshops, shows and activities to Mini Scientists throughout Norfolk. Inspiring future Scientists with education wrapped up in entertainment.

Crossings and Connections: Turner Watercolour Craft
A friendly drop-in craft session for all ages playing with watercolours and other materials and inspired by painter RMW Turner’s ‘Walton Bridges’. Drop in for this creative session between 10am and 1pm. Included in General Admission.
