MTW speech and language therapy invite you to join the therapy revolution!
Now, more than ever, communication is vital. In times of change and confusion being able to communicate your wants/needs and concerns is even more important.
Speech and language therapy can help your child improve their understanding of language, support their development of vocabulary, increase their sentence length, help their clarity of sounds and much more! And the best part is that therapy can happen anywhere communication happens – on a walk or even via online video calls!
We have made this Speech and Language Walk with lots of ideas for you to try with your child.
We are still offering a FREE, no obligation consultation to discuss any concerns around your child’s speech and language that you may be having. We can meet you and your child (via Zoom) and informally assess their needs. We can then give you some specific support and ideas for you to try at home. To book your free consultation click HERE.
If after this you decide you would like to go ahead with therapy our highly trained team of speech and language therapists can explore a variety of different ways to support your family. An added bonus of online therapy is our new reduced prices.
MTW have been using Zoom to deliver effective and motivating therapy. We can share videos/pictures and games enabling us to continue with evidence based therapy. We can help your child develop and learn whilst also offering you support and advice on your child’s development and what you can be doing to support your child between sessions.
We already have some wonderful feedback on our Facebook page from families using Zoom as a platform for therapy.
If video calls are not for you another option is using telephone calls to support and coach you in your child’s areas of need. Together we can problem solve any new challenges that your child faces during this time of change. We can support you to implement your child’s targets into your new routines and provide you with lots of support and advice on how to move forward in supporting you child’s development.
We can’t wait to share this with you all!
Caroline has a little girl called Hattie who is 3 years old. She enjoys acting and regularly joins Rackheath players with their productions. She has also completed many half marathons and tough mudders!
Sarah has a son Jack who is 2 and her daughter Lexi is 4. She enjoys coffee and cake play dates and is gradually working her way through all the cafes of Norwich!
We both love our job because the satisfaction of being able to help improve children’s quality of life is immeasurable. We enjoy watching our children play while we dream up different ways we can make therapy accessible for the families of Norwich.
