Brick Dinos at The Forum, Norwich
Monday 19th July to Monday 30th August
Open daily from 10am to 5pm
Two childhood favourites combine when dinosaurs meet LEGO®! Stunning brick creations will have your jaw dropping when they take over The Gallery inside The Forum. These works have been developed by artist Warren Elsmore in conjunction with palaeontologists and you can see everything from tiny insects to a four-metre Masiakasaurus.
The exhibition is free but you must book your place in advance as numbers are limited. Open for bookings now via The Forum website.

GoGoDiscover T-Rex trail in the city centre
Monday 12th July until Saturday 11th September 2021.
Head out and hunt down 21 mighty meat-eaters who will be showcasing their stunning individual artwork, hand painted by local and national artists.The trail is delivered by East Anglian based children’s charity Break, which provides lifelong support to children and young people in care, on the edge of care or leaving care, in partnership with Wild in Art. Trail Rangers will be out on the streets to help you track them all down. Trail maps will be available to download from Sunday 11th July from the Break website.

Dino-Mite Adventures at Castle Quarter
Thursday 22nd July to Thursday 5th August
You may think it’s pretty hard to hide a dinosaur, but there will actually be five Jurassic friends hiding out across four floors of Castle Quarter this summer. Little explorers can try to track down a Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Allosaurus and a Parasaurolophus sculpture. Find them all, tick them off on a trail sheet and families can be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher to spend in their favourite Castle Quarter store.
PLUS: Walk with Dinosaurs every Tuesday in August!
Animatronic creatures will be roaming around in Castle Quarter at intervals between 11am and 3pm from Tuesday 10th and 31st August.
10th August | Baby dinosaurs
17th August | T-rex
24th August | Raptor
31st August | Spinosaurus
You do not need to book these events at Castle Quarter, just turn up and have fun.
Dino-Dining…
Now, I know you’re still wondering about exactly how and where – and possibly why – you can eat a dinosaur! It’s all part of the fun with the City Food Trail this summer, presented by Norwich Business Improvement District. A host of local restaurants, cafes and bars will be offering exclusive dino-themed menus, complete with colouring to keep your little raptors busy while you wait. Confirmed restaurants taking place include: Giggling Squid, Logans, Zizzi, Franks Bar, Farmyard, Benedicts, Grosvenor Fish Bar, Fig Bar, Erpingham House, WinePress, Namaste, Revado Kitchen, The Green Eatery, The Walnut Tree Shade, Mysabar, The Rumsey Wells and many more to be announced. Look out for the neon dinosaur signs in the windows of participating restaurants.
