A new government scheme to help boost the economy is taking place over August. You can now eat out for a 50% discount at participating restaurants, pubs and cafes.
Looking for somewhere to eat out in August?
There are plenty of places in Norwich taking part in the Government’s ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme and your family can get a meal for half price!
The rules are as follows:
1/ It only applies to restaurants taking part in the scheme – you can see a list below or look up the venue yourself using a new handy postcode tool.
2/ The scheme is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August only, from 3rd – 31st August. Be aware you can’t just rock up on a Friday and expect the restaurant to take part.
3/ There are no vouchers needed, you turn up (book ahead if you can) and the restaurant will give you 50% off, up to a maximum discount of £10 per head for everyone, including children. The restaurant, cafe or pub then claims back from the Government.
4/ Alcoholic drinks are not included, just food and still drinks.
5/ The scheme applies in all parts of the UK not in a local lockdown – so if you are travelling or on holiday, check before hand.
