Dippy time is drawing closer, so I thought it would be a good time to summarise some of the important information from the Dippy on Tour section of the Norwich Cathedral website.
See their website for full details, including covid measures etc.

Free Entry
“Dippy is free to enter and there is no need to book unless you are part of a group of more than six people or an organised tour.
Please be aware you may need to queue at busy times as numbers will be controlled in the exhibition area to ensure the safety of all visitors. Donations are welcome and will help support the upkeep of the Cathedral, which costs about £5,000 a day to run.”
Dippy Events
“There will be a special Dippy programme of events – more details about this will be available soon!”
Taking buggies/pushchairs
“Pushchairs and buggies are allowed in the exhibition area. You will need to keep them with you at all times.”
Toilets and baby changing
“The main toilets and baby changing facilities are located near the Refectory Café, just before the entrance to the Dippy on Tour exhibition. There will also be additional toilets near the South Door of the Cathedral.”
Cafe
“Jarrold at the Refectory Café can be found next to the Cloister and serves teas and coffees, cold drinks, cakes and snacks and light lunches. There will also be some pop-up food and drink stalls in The Close at various times.”
You can eat your own picnics outside.
