Your child will get so much more than childcare out of their time at Barracudas – they gain real-life skills.
Time at one of our camps will allow them to grow and develop physically and mentally in a safe environment.
Here are some of the skills you’ll see your youngster develop at our camps…
Working as a team
From football to Ultimate Frisbee, team sports play a big part in our day at Barracudas.
That spirit of cooperation and “we’re all in it together” will serve your child well as they grow up – after all, how many of us have jobs that don’t involve working as part of a team?
Our list of super sports gives your youngster every chance to improve their hand-eye coordination.
Whether it’s launching basketballs through hoops, whacking rounders balls with a bat, or hitting the bullseye with a bow and arrow, we’re helping them with their coordination.
We don’t do everything for the young people who come to our summer holiday clubs – and that’s an important life lesson.
From putting on their own sun-cream, tidying up after themselves at the end of lunchtime to changing themselves for swimming, the youngsters will realise they can actually look after themselves.
You may think of making friends as a skill, but it is. Learning how to get on safely with strangers is one of the biggest obstacles for many children – and adults.
Learning what they have in common gets the kids talking and they’ll have firm friends by the end of the day.
We’re lucky to now be open at 35 locations at Easter and 48 locations for summer, click HERE to learn more!
