Chantry Place is fully decked out for Christmas and it’s the perfect place to kick start the festivities! With a brand new light display and decorations, a chance to have a wish come true, late-night shopping, pop-ups and competitions, there is plenty for people to enjoy.
The Centre will have several selfie spots for visitors to snap a magical picture, including the Trio of Twinkling Trees that will be on Chantry Square, as well as an 8-metre Christmas tree and Santa’s sleigh inside Chantry Place. Customers will also discover many reindeer throughout the shopping centre, with just one having a bright red nose – will you be able to find Rudolph?! If you do, remember to snap a picture because the Chantry Place elves will be awarding one lucky winner a Rudolph bundle!
The Chantry Place elves will also be encouraging people to Rock Around the Christmas Trees in a fun, festive social media Christmas campaign, with their 3 favourites winning a £50 voucher.
The festive fun doesn’t stop there though! The Chantry Place elves will be at the Centre throughout November and December, spreading the Christmas cheer and telling customers about their “Place Your Wish” campaign! Visitors of any age can place a wish in the postbox that will be near Lovisa and the only rule is that it needs to be available in Chantry Place. The elves will be granting 12 people’s wishes just in time for 25th December.
Christmas is the season of giving, and this year Chantry Place is working with Alive UK, an emergency response charity aiming to reduce poverty and provide emergency support for people in crisis, on a treat and toy appeal to give local people gifts this Christmas. The donation box will be on the lower ground floor, by Santa’s sleigh!
In addition to all the brilliant displays, competitions and selfie opportunities, Chantry Place will be home to several pop-ups throughout November and December. From 7th November, Polyfields, who offer luxury, handmade garlands, wreaths and decorations will be on Chantry Square until 27th December, Chilli Cheese from 11th November and visitors can also find Sense Aroma and the Calendar Club on the lower ground floor!
This year, the shopping centre has welcomed a number of new stores, as well as expansions, giving visitors an even larger range of retailers to find Christmas presents at. These include Rituals, Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight, Laser Clinic and a Hotel Chocolat café.
The new, larger Lisa Angel store will be opening in early November and is the perfect place to find personalised gifts and numerous accessories!
To enable customers to have plenty of time to complete their Christmas shopping, Chantry Place will be opening late on select days. On Thursdays throughout November, and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December, the Centre will be open until 8pm.
